May I bring a companion?

Yes! The retreat is open to guests with any level of yoga experience. If you are intending to share a room, please add all guest details on our booking request form.

Do I have to attend all the yoga, excursions other activities?

No, this is YOUR retreat. It is your time to relax, rejuvenate and renew. You are free to join all the activities, some or none if you prefer. On the days of our excursion’s meals will still be provided at the villa if you wish to stay behind and relax. Please inform the host about your wishes the day before.

Who is hosting the retreat?

The Retreat is hosted by senior yoga teacher Gina Funke. Gina has a heart for her students and a discipleship of service. Her attention to every detail will ensure your experience is nurturing, warm and supported. Gina has hosted retreats, led yoga teacher trainings and shared her love of the yoga practice globally for over 20 years. Gina will be supported and assisted by a Mudita Yoga Teacher - TBA

Passport and travel requirements?

You must hold a valid passport including any visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other authorities.
All travellers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of your return.

Tell me about the venue?

The villa is a luxe boutique accommodation, architecturally designed in the traditional Balinese style giving a luxurious laid-back and exotic ambience. The villa’s expansive garden of well-kept lawn and stone pathways and swimming pools – overlook traditional Balinese rice paddies, all giving the villa the experience of quiet living characteristic of the Balinese countryside.

The villa caters to every need from beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms, two sparkling swimming pools, an open-air yoga space, in house spa, and an abundance of indoor and outdoor spaces to lounge and relax.

Will there be time for exploring?

Yes! The retreat schedule allows for a balance of free time and structured activities. Included in the retreat package is a trip to Ubud, a ceremonial purification and walks through the rice paddies.

After midday there will be plenty of time to rest, relax or to discover the local surrounds. Our personal guest assistant will advise on all the fabulous visits within the local area. There are bicycles, a car, driver and scooters available (extra cost).

We have an onsite SPA with a team of massage and beauty therapists, so you can be pampered. (extra cost).

What are the food options?

The skilful inhouse-chefs will be happy to whip up delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner selected from the daily menu. Healthy, delicious and nutritious dishes will be shared at every meal. All meals enjoyed at the villa are included in your stay. The chef caters to most special dietary requirements. Please let us know when booking if you have particular dietary needs.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

YES, It is required that you take out the appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements, lost or stolen goods, cancelations, medical and personal liability.
